Evaluations
To kick things off, we’ll complete a comprehensive assessment of your child’s speech and language skills to determine their unique strengths and challenges. Evaluations allow us to gather important information about your child’s skills and interests in order to provide you with the best possible care!
Evaluations typically include:
Observation of your child during play
Parent interview
Formal and informal testing measures
The findings of the evaluation will be shared with you and, along with a written report further describing the results. We will work together to determine goals for therapy that align with your child’s needs and your priorities for therapy.

We offer services to address your child’s speech production. We will help your child communicate more clearly and confidently!

We prioritize providing your child with the appropriate speech diagnosis in order to tailor their goals and methods used to their specific needs. We have completed advanced training for Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) to support children with childhood apraxia of speech (CAS).
Autism
We will help your child learn ways to communicate and express themselves using whatever communication method is preferred to them. We will work to:
Reduce frustration
Improve functional communication
Use spontaneous, self-generated language to communicate
We believe in offering and teaching the use of a variety of communication methods to meet the needs of your unique communicator. We have additional training in Gestalt Language Processing (GLP) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to support your child.
AAC
We advocate for children with complex communication challenges to have access to diverse communication methods, including both verbal and non-verbal means. We provide:
AAC evaluations
Assistance to secure funding for your child’s personal speech-generating device
Parent education and support in customizing you child’s device.
Using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) gives your child a way to communicate their needs, thoughts, and feelings, promoting independence and improving confidence. AAC can create opportunities for increased interaction and participation.
Late Talkers
If your child has fewer words in their vocabulary than expected for their age and/or they have difficulty understanding what is said to them and following directions, we can help your little one get the ball rolling! We can help:
Your child meet their milestones
Provide you with strategies to use at home
Evaluate any potential underlying concerns
While some children may naturally catch up, scheduling an evaluation can provide clarity on whether therapy is necessary. If so, early intervention is key to prevent, or lessen, future challenges or delays.
